Rich Kozub, Sr.  is one contented man  after another successful Rotary golf outing fundraiser to battle Rett Syndrome. Rich and his sons Mark and Rick, along with a legion of Rotary volunteers, orchestrated the 15 annual outing (13 of which benefited Rett) on May 11 at "Five Ponds " in Warminster, PA. The cause is extra special to  Rich, because his granddaughter is afflicted with this rare illness.
Rich commented... "The outing seems to get better every year. Out on the golf course, all the holes are busy, people are playing and all the money goes to Rett Syndrome. And that's the greatest part about it!".
A buffet dinner with a great gifts raffle concluded this amazing day for Huntingdon Valley - Churchville Rotary.

It  was a cool, cucumber crisp spring day.  Huntingdon Valley- Churchville Rotary held its annual "Fish-A-Long", Saturday April 25 at Lomirer Park in Abington.  One hundred kids and their families  attended from  the immediate area and  Philadelphia.  The purpose of the event was to introduce children to the sport of fishing.

Said event co-chair Ken Barber, " the "Fish-A-Long"  brought together people of varying ages and backgrounds to enjoy a common experience -  families spending time together, parents teaching children new skills, people of all ages rediscovering the joys of nature, inner city young people experiencing the open space of the park.  It was a rewarding day for Rotarians and the community."
